Astrophysicist from new York, Neil degrasse Tyson has published a fake photo of a lunar Eclipse, where the shadow of the Earth is shown in the form of a narrow strip. So it would seem celestial phenomenon, if our planet was flat, he writes in Twitter.
“A lunar Eclipse, which the adherents of the flat Earth has never seen” – ironically popularizer of science.
Per day this entry in his microblog has collected about 50 thousand retweets and under 160 thousand likes.
Under the photo of the users reasonable to say that it looks like the Eclipse with “flat Earth” when it deployed its disk perpendicular to the moon. Other users claim that published photos of the fake – it hides shadows of turtles and elephants, on which rests a planet.
Another user said that shadows at such distances behave differently than shown in the picture.
