Interpreter Stanislav Yezhov, who was detained on suspicion of spying for Russia, have checked many times. This was announced today at a press conference, said Volodymyr Groysman, answering the question will now be conducted for more thorough screening of candidates for positions in the Cabinet.
Groisman said that Yezhov was a representative of the Protocol that do not have access to state secrets, and also worked as an interpreter for official negotiations, “which no one really some obscure things not said”.
“As for a thorough check – look, it was checked many times. And if not revealed, here is the question… In any country of the world can be such a threat,” – said the Prime Minister.

Groysman reminded again that Yezhov worked for many years in government – in the diplomatic, international offices, in the Administration of the President, government and Parliament.

The man allegedly collected information about activities of government agencies and passed it to the Russian curators through electronic communication channels. He was detained on a workplace with the assistance of the government. Open case under part 1 of article 111 of the criminal code (high treason).
Today the Shevchenkovsky regional court of Kiev to elect a measure of restraint for Yezhov.
