Aircraft of the Swedish air force with a group of observers from Sweden, Czech Republic and Spain on Board during the week will make observation flight over Ukraine. About it reports a press-service of the General staff APU.
The SAAB 340 aircraft (OS100) of the Swedish air force with an Advisory group composed of 15 people (nine from Sweden and three from the Czech Republic and Spain) has already landed in the International airport Borispol.
According to the report of staff observation flight over Ukraine is “for the development of openness and transparency, facilitate monitoring the implementation of existing agreements in the field of arms control”.
Obtained during the flight data will be processed in Sweden.
From 4 to 8 September 2017 under the Treaty on open skies is planned observation flight mission of the U.S. and Ukraine over the territory of the group of States parties of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
