International human rights organization Amnesty International has demanded from Russia to immediately release illegally convicted, Deputy Chairman of the Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people of Akhtem chigusa. This was reported in the representation of the organization in Kiev, reports Radio Liberty.
“Unfair trial against Akhtem chigusa is the culmination in a number of falsified and deliberately false criminal and administrative cases initiated by the occupying Russian authorities against members of the Crimean Tatar community, said the Director of Amnesty International Ukraine Oksana Pokalchuk.
She stressed that condemnation of the occupation authorities Chiygoza is “the personification of the continuous persecution of activists whose only “crime” – an ardent resistance to the Russian annexation of the Crimea”.
Today at the trial in the fabricated case Chigos the Russian invaders in the Crimea was given eight years in a strict regime colony. In the Council of Europe action programskega court has called illegal.
