On Wednesday evening, January 10, in Warsaw international airport Frederic Chopin passenger plane made a hard landing without nose gear. About it reports the New time with reference to TVN Warszawa.
During the approach the crew reported problems with the front of the chassis. The pilots put Bombardier Dash Q400 in emergency mode, but during the landing the plane hit the runway.
The aircraft received substantial damage. Anybody from passengers has not suffered.
Aircraft LOT Polish airlines flight LO3924 flew from Krakow to Warsaw. On Board were 59 passengers and four crew members.
Because of the incident the airport was closed for four hours, flights were rerouted to other airports.
