A citizen of Uzbekistan, who is suspected of carrying out terrorist attacks in new York, was radicalized in the United States. This was stated by the Governor of the state of new York Andrew Cuomo, reports CNN.

According to him, Saifullah, Saipov began to collect information about the terrorist group Islamic state and the tactics of the Islamists. On planned other attacks, there is now no information, and the obtained material indicates a single incident that Saipov was carried out independently. The Governor said that the Uzbek is currently the only suspect.

Cuomo announced that the state introduced enhanced security measures at airports, tunnels, subways, Railways and bridges in new York.
