Ukrainian writer Oleksandr Oles reburied in Kiev on Sunday . Reported by the Ukrainian service Bi-bi-si.
The plane with the ashes of Alexander Oles and his wife arrived this morning at the international airport Boryspil.
January 3, 2017 it was reported that in the Czech Republic in the tomb of Alexander Oles going to bury the other person, in connection with which the remains of the writer and his wife were exhumed. President Petro Poroshenko instructed the foreign Ministry to urgently intervene in the situation and to contact relatives of the writer to determine the possibility of reburial in Ukraine. January 14 Czech Republic allowed the transfer of Ukraine the remains of the writer.
On 18 January, the government allocated funds for the reburial of Alexander Oles reserve in Lukyanovka in Kiev.

Alexander Oles (real name Oleksandr Kandyba) – Ukrainian writer, poet, playwright. The father of the poet and political activist Oleg Olzhych. Died July 22, 1944 at 65 years of age in exile in Nazi-occupied Prague. A month earlier his son was killed in a German concentration camp Sachsenhausen.
