The most likely candidate for the position of head of the presidential Administration after the resignation of Borys Lozhkin is head of the Kharkiv regional state administration Igor rainin. It is reported by Ukrainian Pravda, citing sources in the AP.
According to sources, around 20:00 on August 26, rainin was in the office of the President, together with Lozhkyn. Interlocutors of the edition previously called likely candidate to head up the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly, however, according to them, he refused the offer to hold this post.
He Lozhkin plans to leave the post early next week and will be headed by the national investment Council, as well as plans to become an Advisor to the President.
However, the interlocutors close to the President insist that at the last moment, everything could change.
In November 2014, President Petro Poroshenko has appointed the former Deputy of the Kharkiv regional Council Igor Rainin, first Deputy head of the AP. In February 2015, rainin was appointed Governor of the Kharkiv region.
