The parliamentary faction of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko made a proposal to raise the minimum wage in Ukraine by another 25% – to 4 thousand UAH. This was announced by the head of the faction Arthur Gerasimov, says Mirror weeks.

“In addition to the increase of pensions we appeal to the government to further raise the minimum wage to the level of 4 thousand UAH”, – said Gerasimov.

Currently the minimum wage in Ukraine is 3.2 thousand UAH. To this level it increased on 1 January of the current year.

Real wages in July 2017, compared with June fell by 0.5%, while compared to July last year increased by 17.2%.
