At the March Geneva motor show Renault will present the updated hatchback Zoe. The electric car will be able to offer a more powerful engine and increased the power reserve.

Official information about the upcoming changes, the company did not provide. According to insider information, instead of the current 92-horsepower motor R90 Zoe engine will equip R110, developing 108 HP of power and it will not be migrating the old engine, a complete replacement of the structure.

How the replacement will affect the dynamic characteristics of the hatchback, the insider publication reported. It remains an open question about the power reserve. According to the manufacturer, the current version of the Renault Zoe with a R90 motor cycle NEDC can travel on one battery charge 403 km.

Regardless of the motor the maximum speed of a hatchback is 135 km/h.

It is expected that the price tag on the Zoe motor R110 will be more than a model with R90. In Norway, the hatchback is 150 from 26 to 30 of 770 euros.

On the market the Renault Zoe appeared in the 2012 and all this time, the popularity of electric cars continues to grow. In 2017 on the European market, has sold 30 134 starts at 8 894 units more than in 2016.
