The main strategic Advisor of the administration of the President of the United States Donald trump Stephen Bannon called mainstream media of the country, “opposition party” and urged them to keep quiet, reports Bi-bi-si.

In an interview with New York Times’bannon said that the media disgraced themselves due to their inability to predict the victory of Donald trump in the elections, supporting the election campaign of Hillary Clinton.

“The media should feel shame and humiliation, to keep quiet and just listen,” said chief strategist trump in a telephone interview with the newspaper.

“The media we have is the opposition party. Not the Democratic party. They don’t understand this country. And they still don’t understand why Donald trump became President of the United States,” added Bannon.

During the election campaign, the 62-year-old Steven’bannon headed the election headquarters of the trump. In November 2016, he was appointed as the chief strategist and a senior Advisor to the President-elect.
