China will help Ukraine to build enterprises for the production of products for export to the EU. This was stated by Deputy Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska following the meeting of the Subcommittee on trade and economic cooperation intergovernmental Commission, the correspondent of ЛІГА.net.

“They discussed a very important question of work in the field of creation of industrial enterprises on the territory of Ukraine for export to EU countries, countries of EFTA, which includes Switzerland and Norway and other countries, with which Ukraine signed agreements on free trade,” she said.

Mykolska noted that the parties agreed on cooperation in implementation of infrastructure projects, including transport. Economic development also expects to enhance the creation of an economic belt of the silk road.

“The Chinese side is ready to engage in this project, including the investments,” she said.

In addition, it was about attracting Chinese tourists in Ukraine, energy development, cooperation in the field of high-tech and innovation.

The Deputy Commerce Minister of China Qian Kemin announced that companies of the two countries agreed on the projects of replacement of gas by coal, the construction of solar power plants and grain trade.

“The parties have agreed to further expand mutual investment in agriculture, modernization of industry, energy, information industry. China is ready to consider financial support for such projects,” he said.

Kemin Qian added that China is also ready, within its capacity to continue to provide grant assistance to Ukraine for development of economy and implementation of social projects.

“We are now implementing three projects – provision of medical equipment, emergency equipment, and Assembly and installation,” he explained.
