Despite the desire of influential circles of the elites to make reforms to their formal simulation, halt or reverse already made anti-corruption transformation, they will not succeed, believes Verkhovna Rada Deputy Viktor Chumak. He said this in an interview

“This is one of the areas that are very tightly controlled by the Western partners”, – said the Deputy, “and if there will be a rollback, it can collapse and the IMF aid, and political support.” He recalled that the launch of the NACP and run a registry of electronic declarations was the key token to receive tranches from the IMF, and if these achievements will be given back, will be reviewed the whole program of cooperation with the EU.
