Cameras were hung everywhere, I saw how they were installed. Ran from home, cut off the ankle bracelet. Then ran an hour and a half to the border hitchhike,” said Ilchenko.
According to him, the next day the apartment of his parents, where he was under house arrest, came about a dozen police and military dogs who tried to take his trail.
“They failed, because I changed several times of the machine, and part of the way walked. Crossed the border through the mined forest at random and relied only on God. But I was approached by soldiers in Russian, and I realized that this is neutral territory and that a few dozen meters away stands our soldier. And I ran. It is out of alignment and started shooting, although ran after me. When I ran up to our soldiers, I yelled: stop it. And ran to the place where their documents checked by the Ukrainian border control point – ed.), “said Ilchenko.
He noted that at the checkpoint, he gave the guards a Ukrainian passport, as the Russian nationality, being in the Crimea, he refused, and explained that he had escaped from custody.
