David Bowie was posthumously awarded five music awards, the Grammys, reports The Huffington Post.

The musician has received awards in the categories for best rock song (“Blackstar”) and rock performance, alternative music album, rock performance, and best mastering.

On behalf of the Bowie at the ceremony, no one spoke.

The Adele song “Hello” was recognized as the best pop song, and “25” is the best pop album.

David Bowie died at the age of 69 on 11 January 2016.
