The head of national police Khatia Dekanoidze said the lack of progress in the investigation into the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, but strongly opposed the disclosure of any details of the investigation. She announced this at the briefing, reports Ukrainian Pravda.

According to Dekanoidze, she heard a report on the status of the investigation.

“I can’t say that there is a big breakthrough, but there’s a huge chore,” she said.

“I am categorically opposed to items that are in the investigation to talk about them anyone: Netpolice, the Prosecutor General, because it hinders the investigation. If anything, you are the first to know about it,” said Dekanoidze.

The FBI joined the investigation into the murder Sheremet.

In the case of murder of the journalist, a new video of the persons who laid the explosives in the car.

On 10 August, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko said that the investigation has made progress in the murder case of Sheremet, but to disclose the details cannot.

Investigators have a video which recorded the moment of laying explosives under the car of the editor-founder of ck Olena Prytula, in the car which killed Sheremet.

The investigators previously reported that at the time when the attackers had set the explosives in the car, which exploded Sheremet, they could see the witness, whom they asked to help to find.

On 20 July at 07:45 am in the center of Kiev were blown up the car of the editor-founder of the Ukrainian truth Alyona Pritula, which was Sheremet. He died in the ambulance. Lutsenko said that the death Sheremet is murder.
