In France died legendary French chef Paul Bocuse. It is reported BBC with reference to the Minister of internal Affairs of France gérard Collon.
Bocuse, for several years suffering from Parkinson’s disease, was 91, he died at his famous restaurant near Lyon.
The President of France Emmanuel macron expressed his condolences, calling Bocuse “the epitome of French cuisine.”
According to the Agency, Bocuse became famous in the 1970s as a supporter of the “new kitchen” with a healthier way of cooking. According to Macron, the movement has dramatically changed French gastronomy.
“His name contains the whole of the French gastronomy with its generosity and respect for tradition, but at the same time ingenuity,” said the French President.
Bocuse restaurant L’auberge du Pont de Collonges has received three Michelin stars since 1965.
