Diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Russia have been reduced to zero. This was stated by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on air of the 5th channel.
“It’s not the candidates and not other issues. The appointment of ambassadors must be part of positive history, positive momentum. Today is no positive history, we really do not see”, – said Klimkin.
The foreign Minister also noted that he was not against the introduction of visas for Russian citizens, but this step should be done with the understanding that he will bring Ukraine. While Russians can travel on foreign passports only through international and interstate checkpoints.
August 3, Ukraine has not agreed on the candidacy of the new Ambassador of Russia in Kiev Mikhail Babich.
