The leaders of NABOO and the ARS agreed with Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko that the anti-corruption Bureau staff who participated in the thwarted GPU and SBU RAID in the State migration service, will not be detained. The head of the Bureau Sytnyk said in comments to journalists after meeting him and the head of the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office of Nazar Holodnitsky with the head of the Prosecutor General’s office on Thursday, November 30.
“During a conversation with the attorney General, it was determined that no one will not be arrested, detained employees of the NABU will not be”, – he said.
“Yesterday’s investigation has a negative impact on our operation, and she actually stopped, unfortunately. All of the defendants, which we have been, we have documented will not be able” – said Sytnik.
Director NAB said that the Prosecutor General and the SBU are conducting an investigation, which initiated on the request of the first Deputy head of GMS Dina Emahool and for the “alleged provocation of a bribe by employees of the anti-corruption Bureau”.
“We, together with SAP will evaluate all evidence collected by us, and we hope that the GPU will take a legitimate decision for production that are registered against our workers,” – said Sytnik.
According to him, during a meeting with Lutsenko revealed that employees of GPU and SBU probably “didn’t know the whole story, which has happened.” “The attorney General also was not fully aware of the whole situation”, – said the head of NABOO.

On the question of journalists, whether there corresponds to reality information about the allegedly held by the security Service raided the anti-corruption Bureau, Sytnik briefly replied: “not True.”

NABOO called the charges untrue. The Bureau says that “according to the materials of the case, the official herself has repeatedly voiced the requirement to obtain “encouragement” in the amount of $30 thousand: first, for a positive decision on granting a foreigner the citizenship of Ukraine, and subsequently for granting a residence permit on the territory of Ukraine”.
