The President of Poland Andrzej Duda signed the law on struggle against the African plague of pigs, which provides, inter alia, the construction of a fence on the border with Belarus and Ukraine, reports UKRINFORM.

The length of the fence will be more than 1 thousand km. It will be a fence similar to the fences along the roads and will be built right next to the border.

The law also provides for amendments to some other laws, in particular about the hunt. We are talking about granting permits for the hunting of wild boars in the territories under protection.

In September of this year, plans to build the fence was announced by the Minister of agriculture of Poland Krzysztof Yurgel. Construction will cost Warsaw 30 million euros.

Duda has approved the construction of a fence on the border with Ukraine 30.12.2017
