The European Bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) announced the launch of a selection of companies that will participate in the implementation of the first phase of the project “Solid waste Lviv” for €35 million About the same time the Bank reports on its official website.

The project envisages the beginning of reclamation Hrybovychi landfill and construction of a plant for mechanical-biological waste processing.

Operators of the project are listed Lviv city Council and the municipal enterprise of Green city.

The tender for the procurement of goods, works and services for the project will be announced in the fourth quarter of this year.

From €35 million to €10 million provided the actual reclamation Hrybovychi landfill. This is a non-refundable grant from EBRD.

Another €25 million will be spent on the construction of a waste recycling plant on the territory of Lviv CHP-2. The development of the project of the plant has already completed the specialists of the French company Egis by a grant of the French government.
