The Ministry of energy and coal industry expects the growth of Ukrainian electricity exports by the end of 2017 60% compared with 2016, when the export amounted to 4 billion kWh. this was stated by Minister of energy Igor Nasalik, UNIAN reports.

“Somewhere in the 60%. I think it’s a lot,” said Nasalik, answering the question about the forecasts of exports by 2017.

In 2016 Ukraine increased electricity exports in comparison with 2015 by 10.9% to 4,014 billion kWh.

Earlier, the head of the national Commission carrying out regulation in the sphere of energy and communal services Dmitry Vovk said that the electricity tariffs in Ukraine are the highest in Europe.
