Turkey may carry out a new attack on Kurds in Iraq and Syria, and the United States should support this operation. This was stated by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, AP reports.

“We will have to continue (our actions – ed.)”. We won’t name the date and time when we arrive. But they (the Kurds – ed.) will know that the Turkish military can come,” said Erdogan.

The Turkish PM also said that he would discuss the issue at a meeting with the President of the United States Donald trump next month.

As noted, the United States conducted its troops and armored vehicles in a few Syrian cities to demonstrate power and probably intend to talk Turkey and Kurdish forces in Syria from attacking each other.

Kurdish officials have described the movement in the number of American troops “buffer” between them and Turkey.

It is also reported that the US provided air cover and other support to people’s protection Units Kurds fighting the terrorist group Islamic state in Syria and Iraq. In Turkey, in turn, considers the people’s protection Units a terrorist group. Last week Ankara has conducted a number of airstrikes, which killed 20 Kurdish fighters.

28 April the U.S. State Department stated that unilateral and uncoordinated actions of the Turkish air force attacked targets in Syria and Iraq, has led to losses in the ranks of friendly forces and threatened the safety of American troops in the region.
