Prior to the launch of a full electronic Declaration system of the National Agency for countering corruption in Ukraine has not completed the requirements of the EU for the abolition of visas. This was during a meeting with reporters, said the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski, writes

“I have always said (officials – ed.): do reforms, not imitate the process! We lost eight months on the creation of NACP. Why? Who knows… We were promised that the Agency will earn eight months ago,” he said.

According to EuroDeposit now achieved all the elements required for the abolition of visas other than the issue of e-Declaration of incomes. “And this is a question for Ukraine is to fulfill the last element needed in order to obtain a visa-free regime”, – said the Ambassador.

Thus Tombinski believes that with this problem the Ukrainian government needs to deal with alone.

“There is a border of our (the EU – ed.) of influence, and if someone wants to hurt themselves, what can we do? A small group of people holding hostage the whole of Ukraine, blocking the introduction of a visa-free regime”, – he stressed.
