Employees of the National anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office yesterday, December 19, detained the former Director of the state Department of Lutsk N2 on suspicion of embezzlement of wheat worth more 58,81 million.

As the press service of NABOO, the same day he was informed about the suspicion of committing a crime under part 5 of article 191 of the Criminal code of Ukraine.

As has established a consequence, the state Agricultural Fund in November 2013 gave Lutsky CCP N2 grain for safekeeping. The then head of state without the permission of the owner of the grain and decided to ship it out to commercial entities without charge.

Thus during April-June 2014 Elevator AHEM exported more than 26 thousand tons of grain, which belonged to the Agrarian Fund. As a result, he suffered damage amounting to more than 58,81 million.

Now the question on election to the suspect of a preventive measure. This investigation leads to the NEB in October last year.

In the spring of this year, it was reported that the Agrarian Fund with a statutory Fund of UAH 5 bn could be a potential investor CCP.

The agrarian Fund has addressed with the appeal of the recent decision of the court on bankruptcy of the plant, to delay the liquidation of the company. The Foundation also planned to move the grain in addition to available on the CCP.

Lutsky CCP N2 goskomrezerv of Ukraine was put into operation in 1984. From 11 March 2002, the company was reorganized in the state.
