Ex-soldier of the disbanded company Tornado pleaded guilty to the abuse of power, kidnapping and hostage-taking. About this on air of 112 Ukraine informed the Prosecutor of Department of the Military Prosecutor’s office Ruslan Kravchenko.

After that, the defendant Shevchenko asked the court to change the measure of restraint to house arrest.

“The court made the decision and changed it to the accused a measure of restraint in the form of a round-the-clock house arrest. He said he admits his guilt in committing crimes under article 147 (hostage-taking, – an edition), 126 (kidnapping – ed.), 365 (excess of authority or official powers, – an edition) of the criminal code and made a confession,” – said Kravchenko.

MP Ihor Mosiychuk was admitted on his page in Facebook wrote that the defendant Shevchenko (call “REM”) recently in jail had a serious operation.

“To save his life, he partially admitted his guilt, but refused to acknowledge himself a member of an organized criminal group and involved in any crimes except illegal deprivation of freedom and application of the Taser to the detained separatist,” wrote Mosiychuk.

The rest of the ex-tornadovtsam extended the period of detention to 60 days, said the channel.

Some former fighters of a specialcompany of the Ministry of interior of the Tornado are accused of creating a criminal group which during the period from December 2014 to June 2015 have committed serious and extremely serious crimes in the area ATO. 5 Aug GPU showed a video testimony from the witnesses about the crimes of former members of the Tornado during a closed court hearing.
