Oktyabrsky district court of the Dnieper by its decision of 5 September 2017 partially satisfied the claim of Elena Bogolubova to PrivatBank. The court broke several of Deposit agreements concluded by the plaintiff and defendant in the years 2014-2016, and recovered from the Bank in favor of Bogolubovo $15.7 million, EUR 1.8 million and 30.4 million. It is reported Finbalance with reference to the materials of the court.

It is reported that the national Bank of Ukraine (together with the guarantee Fund appear in the proceedings as a third party) and PrivatBank filed appeals against this decision.

The publication learned of the decision of the court of first instance from the decision of the Appeal court of Dnipropetrovsk region, whereas the text of the decision of the October district court of the Dnieper classified.

As noted in the judicial records, according to Bogolubovo, 22 Dec 2016 its cash balances on accounts in PrivatBank were scrapped (as it became known from the system Privat24), although it did not provide appropriate guidance.

Previously, the former co-owner of the PrivatBank Gennadiy Bogolyubov has publicly said that during the nationalization of PrivatBank was written off (forcibly converted into Bank shares), including the contributions of his ex-wife, whom he divorced 11 years ago.

Earlier, Bogolyubov demanded that the Ukrainian government refund lost funds in PrivatBank.

Prior to the nationalization of PrivatBank Bogolyubov owned 33,25% of PrivatBank.
