The Governor of California (USA) Jerry brown imposed in the County of Los Angeles state of emergency due to forest fires. It is reported by CNN.

The fire, which began on September 1, in the County of Los Angeles, quickly spread to 3.5 thousand hectares.

“As fire threatens thousands of homes, other buildings and forced residents to evacuate 700 homes, declare a state of emergency in the County of Los Angeles,” said brown.

The Governor noted that the fire led to the closure of motorways and high temperatures increase the chance of further spread of fire.

In extinguishing the fire involved more than a thousand rescuers.
