The former adviser to the US President on national security issues, Michael Flynn told the FBI that he did not discuss the sanctions with the Russian Ambassador. About it reports The Washington Post according to the intelligence sources.
If this is a false indication, Flynn could face the possibility of opening a criminal case. It is up to the Ministry of justice.
On the morning of February 14, Flynn resigned. His departure was preceded by criticism for a discussion of the problems of sanctions with the Russian Ambassador in Washington Sergei Kislyak.
Flynn after his resignation, said that the Ambassador talked about 35 diplomats of the Russian Federation, was expelled from the United States, and not on sanctions.
