The Turkish authorities for the release of leaders of the Majlis of Akhtem chigusa, and Ilmi Umerov gave Russia its two citizens accused of espionage. It is reported by DW with reference to the Turkish TV channel Haberturk.

According to the report, the Russians Alexander Smirnov and Yuri Anisimov was arrested in Turkey in April 2016 on charges of planning a murder “Chechen dissidents”.

Source in the Ukrainian diplomatic circles confirmed that Chiygoz and umer were exchanged by Turkey for the two Russians.
