The speaker of the dissolved Parliament of Catalonia Carme Forcadell court released from custody on bail. She was forbidden to leave the territory of Spain, the Agency reports Deutsche Welle.

Forcadell left Madrid jail of Alcala-Meco after her lawyer paid her bail of $ 150 thousand euros. Leaving alcalá-Meco, she refused to communicate with journalists.

“We are going home. With a clear conscience and with confidence that we acted correctly: to guarantee freedom of expression in the (Catalan Parliament), the centre national sovereignty,” she wrote on Twitter shortly after his release.

On the eve of Forcadell gave evidence in the Supreme court of Spain, stating that the proclamation of the Declaration of independence of Catalonia in the Parliament of the region October 27, was “symbolic.”

Under the terms of the bail, Forcadell before the hearing required weekly to appear in court, also she has no right to leave Spain and her passport confiscated by the court.

Now in custody are eight members of the dissolved Catalan government and two leaders of the action teams during the Catalan referendum on independence on 1 October. The former head of Catalonia Carles Pujdeme and four of his Ministers fled to Belgium.

Yesterday, the Supreme court of Spain has arrested ex-speaker of the Parliament of Catalonia.
