Germany and France agree that any action for the lifting of sanctions against Russia should be linked to progress in resolving the conflict in the Donbass. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Sigman Gabriel during a press conference with the foreign Minister of France Jean-Marc Ayrault, reports Reuters.

“We want to implement the Minsk peace process. And this is the only way how to cancel the sanctions,” – said the Minister.

According to Gabriel, it is also important that Germany and France expressed a common position. Countries intend to create a bilateral working group to address the issue on Ukraine and Russia.
