French sailor françois Gabaret established today a new record of duration of a single trip around the world – he amplil around the world in 42 days, 16 hours, 40 minutes and 35 seconds. About it reports UKRINFORM with reference to Franceinfo.

Result Dim surpassed the record of another Frenchman, Thomas Kavila, who in December of last year, overcame a round-the-world route for a period longer than a week.

“When I crossed the finish line, it seemed crazy, far-fetched, I was a bit shocked, was some time in this state that couldn’t even move,” sailor shared his feelings with reporters.
