The international coalition under US leadership, which is fighting with militants of the Islamic state (IG), confirmed the death of 61 people among the civilian population from airstrikes caused in Iraq and Syria. About it reports Reuters, citing a statement by the leadership.
The coalition in a statement said that in July it had investigated 37 reports of casualties among the civilian population. It was found that the reports only 13 credible.
The statement said that the coalition is investigating another 455 reports of civilian casualties caused by artillery or air strikes. Currently recognized by at least 685 of civilian deaths since the start of the conflict in August 2014.
It is noted that the most lethal incident investigated in July, is 14 Mar airstrike near Mosul (Iraq) which killed 27 civilians in a related structure.
