The General Directorate of national police in the Crimea began pre-judicial investigation in criminal proceedings on the facts of the illegal persecution of citizens in connection with their alleged involvement in the international Islamic political party Hizb ut-Tahrir. About it reports a press-service of the Crimean Prosecutor’s office.
It noted that the activities of the said parties are banned in the Russian Federation.
The Prosecutor said that among the 29 people who are illegally persecuted by the occupation authorities of the Crimea, in the specified criminal proceedings are investigated and the illegal imprisonment Ruslan Zeitullaev, whose occupants are “sentenced” to 12 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony.
On 26 April the Russian invaders “sentenced” Crimean Tatar Ruslan Zeitullaev, previously on hunger strike for 12 years in a strict regime on false charges of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
