Gas reserves in underground gas storages of Ukraine according to the latest data released by the Ukrtransgaz SE, constitute 10,11 billion cubic meters, accounting for 32.7% of their nominal capacity (30,95 billion cubic meters).

For the week from 21 to 28 January, inventories fell by 4.4%, or $ 466 million cubic meters.

Recall, according to forecasts by Naftogaz of Ukraine at the end of the heating season in underground storage facilities will remain 7-8 billion cubic meters of gas with an acceptable value of 5 billion cubic meters.

Earlier, Vice-President of the European Commission on energosoiuz maroš Šefčovič said that in Europe do not expect major problems with energy supply because of the cold winter and possible problems with gas transit through Ukraine, despite statements of the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller on possible difficulties with gas supplies through fault of the Ukrainian side.
