Pro-Kremlin 62-year-old Russian singer Oleg Gazmanov is not allowed in Lithuania. As told by in Instagram, it is not released from the airport in Vilnius, despite the presence of a valid Schengen visa.
“I’m in Lithuania at the Vilnius airport. Despite my Schengen visa in the Schengen area according to EU rules no boundaries, I was not allowed out of the airport,” he said.
Gazmanov complained that “there is a secret list of” undesirable in Lithuania Russians: “the Meanest system I… extremely disgusting government, which under the slogan of protection of the population from the harmful effects of Russian culture tries to divide us”.

In August 2014, Latvia banned the entry of three Russian artists – Joseph Kobzon, Oleg Gazmanov and singer Valeria, who actively supported the Russian aggression in Ukraine. The list of persons who threaten the national security of Ukraine, was drafted in 2015, he expanded several times, besides the above mentioned artists, also includes Nikolay Rastorguev, Yulia Chicherina, Stas Peha Grigoriy Leps and others.
