Missing in the Donbass are still listed 498 people, with 347 of them were civilians. Such data in Facebook released the Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, the representative of the humanitarian sub-group the Minsk process Irina Gerashchenko.
“The missing persons list, which we use in the work of the Minsk group, to date, 498 people, of whom 347 – civil, among them are the volunteers, doctors. Others military volunteers, some of them have disappeared two years ago, including after the Ilovaisk tragedy,” she said.
According to Gerashchenko, the state’s responsibility is to find each of the missing, identify the bodies of the dead and honor their memory.
Also Vice-speaker of Parliament stated that the search process and the release of the hostages can be accelerated if to connect the international Committee of the red cross.
