First Deputy head of the State migration service Pimanova Dean, the defendant in the investigation to NAB the corruption in the GMR, has applied for leave, which was granted. About it reports a press-service of the GMS.
“According to the statement, the leave is necessitated by the need to improve health, which deteriorated because of the situation with the attempt of transfer of a bribe by an agent of the National anti-corruption Bureau and subsequent investigation of the SBU and the General Prosecutor’s office”, – stated in the message.
On 29 November 2017, the SMS stated that he was arrested “agent NABS suspected attempt to bribe the” first Deputy head of the HMS Dean Emahool. NABOO called the charges untrue. The Bureau says that “according to the materials of the case, the official herself has repeatedly voiced the requirement to obtain “encouragement” in the amount of $30 thousand: first, for a positive decision on granting a foreigner the citizenship of Ukraine, and subsequently for granting a residence permit on the territory of Ukraine”.
The NAB has accused the PGO and SBU that their employees allegedly deliberately prevented the holding of a special operation aimed at identifying “participants of an organized criminal group” in the State migration service.
