The Prosecutor General’s office summoned for questioning fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych and former Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and other former Ukrainian officials or members of their families. The agenda is published on the website of the GPU.
Interrogations also called the son of Mykola Azarov Alexander, former head of the national Bank of Ukraine ex-Vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov, former Minister of energy and coal industry Eduard Stavitsky, the former head of the Cherkasy regional state administration Serhiy Tulub, former Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, now MP Yevhen Bakulin and his daughter Svetlana Bakulina.
The interrogation scheduled for November 17, and they are connected with criminal proceedings under part 1 of Art. 255 (creating criminal organization, part 5 article 191 (assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position), part 3, article 209 (legalization (laundering) of proceeds of crime) and part 2 St. 205 (fictitious business).
May 22, 2017, the state office of public Prosecutor has asked the Pechersky district court of Kiev resolution in absentia conviction Azarov.
