Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman said that in the medium term, Croatia will be able to supply gas to Ukraine.

As noted by the head of the government in Facebook, in the beginning of last week, with the first 25 years of the official visit to Ukraine visited the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrey Plenkovich. He said Groisman, as part of the negotiations, the parties approved the deepening of bilateral cooperation in achieving energy independence.

“There is a very interesting project on gas supplies from Croatia through the LNG terminal. Croatia – Hungary – Ukraine – this will strengthen our energy independence. In the medium term it will be absolutely real project”, – said the Prime Minister.

“Ukraine should deepen cooperation with Eastern European countries, especially those with whom we share a border, share a border, and with countries that are strategic partners for Ukraine,” – said Groisman.

At the meeting with Plenkovic Groisman said that Ukraine is ready to help Croatia to build the LNG terminal.

Help. In the beginning of the year, LNG Croatia LLC announced the receipt of seven bids from investors for the construction of a liquefied natural gas terminal on the Croatian island of Krk. The government has estimated the total cost of construction of 1 billion Euro. The estimated capacity will be from 4 to 6 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
