The security service does not yet have evidence of similarity in cases of attempted murder of people’s Deputy Anton Gerashchenko and the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet. About that today at the briefing said the head of the SBU Basil Gritsak, reports Ukrainian Pravda.

“It can be connected, and may not be related. If there we will find the elements that will be recalled by way of Commission or some other things, we will see the similarities, you are definitely going to work on these things. I’ll tell You more, we are working on these things. But yet say that we have already found that these crimes are related, I unfortunately can not”, – said Hrytsak.

He declined to comment on what evidence was given detained on charges of attempted murder Gerashchenko.

Hrytsak said that the collected SBU’s enough evidence to make the perpetrators “went to jail”.

Criminal proceedings for the attempted murder of people’s Deputy of the SBU is investigating, the murder of journalist Sheremet – national police.

On 21 January the head of the security service of Ukraine Vasily Gritsak has informed that in Kiev, the security personnel at the stage of execution prevented the murder of MP.

January 22, Gerashchenko said that the Deputy attempted murder which prevented the SBU is he.

January 23, Gerashchenko said that, judging by the handwriting and the preparation of a terrorist act to eradicate it, investigators believe that 99.9% this is a terrorist act of murder Sheremet.

Journalist Pavel Sharamet killed in Central Kiev July 20, 2016, when the car was blown up Olena Prytula, which was Sheremet.
