The head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin surprised by the fact that official Budapest has decided to initiate a review of the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine new Ukrainian law on education. About it the Minister wrote in his Twitter.
“Very surprised by the statements of foreign Minister of Hungary on revision of the Association Agreement. I plan to discuss all issues on 12 October in Budapest,” said he, adding that Kiev is modifying that agreement is possible “only in the context of ensuring a clear European perspective of Ukraine.”
While Klimkin stressed that Ukraine is ready for constructive dialogue with Hungary “at all levels”.
“We talk about everything, including about results of the Ukrainian citizens of Hungarian passports and not only…”, dim finished the Minister.
The foreign Minister also invited the partners of Ukraine – without specifying the countries to visit Transcarpathian region, adding that plans to organize a visit of foreign ambassadors to the region for direct communication with its residents.

October 10, 2017, the Minister of foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siarto stated that will initiate on October 16 at the meeting of foreign Ministers of member countries of the European Union the revision of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in retaliation for the new Ukrainian law on education, which is not like the Hungarian authorities.
