In connection with the threat of hurricane Irma in the U.S. state of Florida will be closed for two nuclear power plants, which are among the most powerful in the United States. This was stated by utility company Florida Power&Light Company (FPL) on Twitter.

FPL operates in Florida for two nuclear power plants -Turkey Point and St. Lucie.
