Police in the Australian state of Queensland arrested a French citizen, who was attacked with a knife on the neighbors in a tourist hostel in the town of home hill. It is reported ABC TV.
29-year-old man shouting “Allahu Akbar” attacked with a knife on the nearby tourists, he stabbed 21-year-old English woman and seriously wounded a 30-year-old Englishman, who was sent to the hospital and is in critical condition. The attacker also killed the dog that lived at the hostel.

“We are investigating this now in its early stage, do not rule out any possible motives, including political or criminal. Investigators will also need to determine whether it is connected the attack with a mental disorder or using drugs”- said the Deputy police Commissioner of Queensland Steve Goszewski.
The Deputy Commissioner added that the Frenchman didn’t have any connections with the terrorist organization Islamic state, and the attacker apparently acted alone.
Home hill is located in the North-East of Australia is about 1.2 thousand km to the North from Brisbane. This town is popular with young tourists who are traveling on the Green continent, laboring from local farmers.
