In Berlin in the early morning is a large-scale anti-terrorist operation to identify individuals associated with the terrorist organization Islamic state. About it reports UKRINFORM with reference to the Prosecutor of the capital of Germany.
“The investigation against supporters of ISIS continues,” the Ministry informed.
In a joint operation by police and special forces detained several people suspected that they are linked to ISIS and fought in Syria. Conducted searches in the apartments in the neukölln district, and also at Budapester-straße.
According to investigators, some of the detainees were associated with the Berlin terrorist Anis Amri, who, on 19 December 2016 made arrival on the Christmas market in the city centre, killing 12 people and injuring about fifty.
