In Catalonia, people began to gather near polling stations to vote in the referendum on independence, according to Reuters.

The Catalans want to vote contrary to the position of the Central government of Spain.

People began to gather four hours before the start of voting.

“I got up early because I need my country. We don’t know what will happen, but we have to be here,” – said 65-year-old woman, who came to the polling station.

30 September, in Barcelona thousands of Spaniards took to the protest against the referendum on the independence of Catalonia. Spanish police took control of 2315 1300 schools, in which the day of the referendum must be placed polling stations.
