In China completed the first test flight of the largest in the world of amphibious aircraft AG600, reports Xinhua.
9:39 a.m. local time, the plane, named Kunlun successfully soared into the sky from the airport of civil aviation Jinwan Zhuhai. The flight lasted about an hour.
“The successful first flight has made China one of few countries in the world are able to develop a large amphibious aircraft,” – said the chief designer of AG600 Juan Lingkai.

The aircraft is equipped with four turboprop engines, fuselage length of 39.6 meters, wingspan – 38.8 per meter. The maximum speed of the plane is 500 km/h, the maximum flight time to 12 hours and a maximum takeoff weight of 53.5 tons.
