Cuba crashed passenger plane of Cuban airline AeroGaviota. Reported by the Daily Mail, citing local media.
An-26 aircraft belonging to the Cuban airline crashed in a remote area of Las Lomas de San Cristobal near the Western province of Pinar del Rio, 50 miles from Havana.
According to local media, everyone who was on Board, 39 people were killed in the crash, although officials have not confirmed the death toll.
According to preliminary data, the plane took off from Baracoa airport which offers regular domestic flights. A source in the Cuban aviation, told reporters: “the plot is difficult to reach by land, and a preliminary report shows that there are no survivors”.
On 16 January it was reported that at landing approach in the airport Manas in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, crashed cargo plane Boeing 744 Turkish airlines, flying from Hong Kong to Bishkek. Killed 37 people, including four crew members.
