A court in Egypt has sentenced to death on charges of terrorism 13 persons. On it informs FoxNews.
The court referred the decision of the Supreme religious authority – the Council of Muftis.
The condemned were accused that they were members of the Organization of the Egyptian Legion, which in 2013 took responsibility for several attacks.
Convicts accused of killing six security personnel and attempting to kill another hundred in the attacks on police stations and governmental institutions.
The final verdict will not depend on the opinions of Muftis and may be appealed. The court will announce it on December 7th.
In July of this year, the Cairo criminal court sentenced to 28 accused in the murder of the chief Prosecutor of Egypt Hisham Barakat.
